i recommend getting an electric toothbrush or some shavers. this helps with puppies that are still nervous after visiting the salon, it helps builds their confidence ready for the full groom. run the toothbrush backwards so its the vibration side along the dogs body, round the feet and head area. Maybe give a few treats making it a pleasant experience. This can work on rescued dogs that seem really nervous. it works wonders whne your dog comes in the salon ready to be clipped and styled knowing you did some work on them as responsible owners.

If your dog is known to be scared of a dryer or the groomer informs that it is. when your drying your hair at home get your dog in the same room and make sure they understand that its a pleasant experience and no harm is going to be caused. Give some treats to encourage them to come closer to the dryer.
